The logistics company JITRANS logistik, spol. s r.o., specializing in 3PL services primarily for wholesale companies and e-shops, sees the future in standardization and streamlining logistics processes, which will enable it to quickly absorb new warehouse operators, but also to share and quickly train new staff, set up transparent employee evaluations, and have high-quality reporting available for managerial decision-making and management. After several unsuccessful inquiries, these requirements were finally met by the mySTOCK® WMS product in a specialized Logistics version. Thanks to this, JITRANS logistik has had a comprehensive solution for managing and optimizing logistics, processes, and warehouse workers since February, with which it is 100% satisfied. In the future, they are also considering cooperation in automation and robotization, areas in which the KVADOS Group is a leader and is able to design and implement comprehensive turnkey deliveries, including the supply of robots and technologies, their integration, and long-term service.
The company JITRANS logistik, spol. s.r.o. focuses on storing the assortment of larger storage providers, such as wholesalers and e-shops. The warehouse is strategically located in Jihlava, which ensures excellent accessibility throughout the Czech Republic and Slovakia. They currently provide 3PL services for six warehouses and are planning to expand, so they needed to optimize and streamline their warehouse processes. They also wanted to meet the requirements of their clients, significantly reduce the administrative burden of communicating with them, and connect the WMS system directly to their information systems and e-shops. For smaller storage providers who do not have the option of direct integration, they used a B2B portal as a solution, which facilitates two-way communication with the WMS system and ensures error-free transfer of documents and product range data.
3PL warehousing has its own specific requirements. In addition to the above, it also requires the easiest and most accurate record of services provided to individual depositors, which serves as the basis for accurate and transparent invoicing. Only KVADOS was able to fully meet these requirements in the tender with its specialized industry version, for which JITRANS logistik also received very positive references and which also met the requirements for planned development towards robotics and automation. We offer the mySTOCK® product in three industry versions: Retail, Production, and Logistics. It is the third solution, tailored to the logistics vertical, that puts it in a unique position on the market. The entire project was implemented in an extremely short time of only two months. Since the beginning of February 2022, the mySTOCK® system has been running in the warehouse of JITRANS logistik in live operation, currently for one warehouse operator, but work is underway to implement two more.
mySTOCK® WMS comprehensively manages the work of warehouse staff, assigning them tasks with precise instructions on what to do, where to go, and where to go. In addition, it accurately records every action performed with a specific product range, such as relocation, packaging, repackaging, or adding instructions. It also supports the recording of consumed materials. This allows JITRANS logistik to invoice its customers for individual tasks in a simple and, above all, transparent manner, without a heavy administrative burden. Warehouse workers use PDAs that we supplied in cooperation with one of the two leading manufacturers, our partner Honeywell.
In addition to the WMS for warehouse logic management, we also supplied and implemented an interface that ensures direct communication and data exchange between the warehouse operator’s ERP system and the WMS system of JITRANS logistik. This significantly speeds up and streamlines communication between the provider and the warehouse operator, who has an immediate overview of stock levels and can automatically transfer picking or stocking requests. This ensures a significant reduction in administrative work and errors and increases the speed of all communication. This is also appreciated by Miroslav Stárek, Commercial and Financial Director of JITRANS logistik: “I am surprised by the versatility of the system and its ability to communicate with other IS. I appreciate the proactive approach, i.e., that they don’t look for problems, but solutions.” User-friendliness for clients is key for a logistics company, as it makes it more attractive to potential new customers. Thanks to process optimization, clients save significant costs related to transportation.
The first customer to implement the system was also a new client for JITRANS logistik. Nevertheless, the transition to the new system was extremely quick and went smoothly. “Perfect work. Complete professionalism, from organization to technical knowledge. Everything went without a hitch. Willingness to go above and beyond their duties,” Mr. Stárek praises the implementation process. He also mentions the main benefits that the new system brings to the company: “The warehouse is currently running smoothly. Minimal error rate, satisfied customers. We are now able to work better with people, evaluate the demands of individual activities, and thus optimize the number of people on shift. We have detailed reports on the situation in the warehouse. We have experience with SAP and other warehouse systems, and I must say that I am glad that mySTOCK® is a Czech system with Czech owners. It just confirms to me that even in our small country, we have something to be proud of. Thank you again!
